ROLE DESCRIPTION:

Digital Supply Chain Process Principal Consultant, with focus on IBP.  You will support implementing solutions to enhance our clients’ business functionality and overall performance.   This is a key leadership role, requiring deep knowledge and understanding of SAP technical & functional capabilities, including industry best practices.  Additionally, this role will focus on service management for SAP premium cloud subscriptions and content creation for new services and maintenance of existing services portfolio.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / TASKS:

 

  • Service management for SAP’s premium cloud subscription service to coordinate with customers, Account Managers and consulting units for service delivery.
  • Independently drive supply chain planning service portfolio for cloud subscription in consultation with Product Management.
  • Content creation for new services and service maintenance to enhance existing portfolio.
  • Should have worked in onshore/offshore model for service coordination and delivery management in a Lead position.
  • Strong customer facing skills for both internal and external stakeholder management.
  • Provide remote/onsite SAP consulting services to key SAP customers on innovation products, mainly SAP IBP.
  • Be actively involved in the preparation, design, realization and Go Live of customer implementation projects.
  • Demonstrate the ability to plan, run, and manage workshops/meetings with internal and external clients.
  • Providing a creative source of ideas/solutions to address customer issues.
  • Execution of innovation portfolio serving as primary contact from Customer Success service areas to deploy and implement solutions.
  • Be able to evaluate affected processes and scenarios. Ensure proper validation of solution implemented by grating minimum test case scenarios execution.
  • Get involved with customer scenarios, be able to understand business needs and discuss best approaches to help them.

 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Desirable to have 10-15 years of SAP consulting experience in SAP IBP Supply Chain Planning area
  • 1-2 end-to-end implementations of SAP IBP Supply Chain Planning or execution area
  • Bachelor in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or similar.
  • Solid experience developing/deployment as IBP / APO / PP-DS consultant on projects;
  • Good Integration knowledge of SAP ECC or S/4HANA and SAP IBP using SAP Cloud Platform Integration – Data Services;
  • Good understanding of an integrated and end-to-end supply chain planning process with SAP S/4HANA and SAP IBP solutions;
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
  • Excellent Team Player with individual ownership;
  • Strong client-facing experience and well developed customer focus;
  • Desired but not mandatory:
    • Knowledge of SAP ACTIVATE implementation methodology;
    • Knowledge of SAP Cloud strategy – Public cloud, Private cloud
    • Industry/domain experience in the area of supply chain management

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 102,100 - 247,000 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
